Saving Lives Using Artificial Intelligence

Every form of development in our daily lives is a product of intelligence. In the past few years, man has successfully merged human and artificial intelligence together and this, in turn, has thrust civilization to the next level.

Some decades ago, the feat was merely seen as fiction and imagination, but today's scientific innovations have shown that those scientific ideas as of old weren’t just a mere imagination but a concept that has become a reality.

Today, Artificial Intelligence has made it possible for machines to store the retinal signature of people, recognize individual’s face, and perform tasks by man’s instructions and as each day passes, the capabilities of machines to perform various tasks continues to grow drastically.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is simply a way of making a computer, machine or even a robot think intelligently, more like a man. This technology enabled devices to store and learn from experiences, adjust to new instructions and carry out tasks like a man.

The introduction of AI has brought about the concept of a world free from errors, delay, and failures. Now in many factories, people use this technology to perform different tasks leading to increased speed and accuracy and productivity.

HOW ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WORKS

AI works by combining huge amounts of information with fast repetition of a process aimed at generating the desired goal and intelligent algorithms. This will, in turn, allow the software to learn automatically from patterns or structures in the record. This process involves diverse theories, methods, and technologies.

The machines learning automates logical model building and uses methods from neural networks, operations research and statistics, and physics to get unseen insights in data without overtly being programmed to look at a particular place or to arrive at a specific result. A neural network is made up of interconnected machine units that process information by reacting to external inputs and relaying information between each unit. This process requires multi passes at the data, to find links and turn an unclear data into meaningful information.

WHY USE AI-POWERED TECHNOLOGIES AT THE WORKPLACE

Artificial Intelligence is the future of technology and civilization around the globe. But one may have to ask, why resort to AI? What future does it hold for the evolution of man? These issues are answered

  • AI adds intelligence to an already existing product: AI-powered technologies can be used to increase productivity, increase security intelligence level and carry out a quick investment analysis.
  • AI adapts to continuous learning procedure. Shortly man will be able to amplify himself with computers and enhance many of our natural capabilities. Like the cyborg enhancement, added for convenience for people with amputated limbs, as the brain will be linked and communicate with a robotic limb to give the patient more control. Thereby reducing the limitations of such an individual.
  • AI achieves accuracy. This is achieved through deep neural networks, for instance, Google search is all based on deep learning, and as such, keep getting more accurate the more we use them.

Finally, soon AI-powered technologies will become part of man’s everyday activity and life. From big tasks to the small once, everyone is using Artificial Intelligence to remove work pressure and enhance service delivery.
