With AI in cybersecurity, algorithms and machine learning models are used to analyze data and identify patterns in network traffic, user behaviour, and system logs. These analyses allow the detection and prevention of cyber threats.

AI can detect cyber threats by continuously analyzing network traffic, system logs, user behaviour and related data in real-time. This is contrary to traditional methods, where threats are typically identified after they have already caused damage to the systems. It is difficult to find professionals with the necessary skills to develop and implement AI in cybersecurity. This means that businesses may struggle to find the expertise they need to implement AI in their cybersecurity strategies.

Despite various challenges, the benefits of using AI in cybersecurity are significant. As such, organizations that incorporate AI into their cybersecurity strategies are likely to be better equipped to protect their systems and data against cyber threats.
